L'image non développée n'existerait-elle pas? L'image latente, l'attente de l'image, ne participent-elles pas de manière centrale au plaisir de la photographie argentique? Et le Polaroid, n'avait-il pas précisément déjà créé une culture photographique de la consommation immédiate? Plus profondément encore, depuis Daguerre, la photographie (et le cinéma) analogique n'a-t-elle pas été le seul art de représentation qui ne donne pas à voir immédiatement (quelque chose au moins de) ce qu'il produit?

Robert L Capp et Hiroshima

"The Robert L. Capp collection at the Hoover Institution Archives contains ten never-before-published photographs illustrating the immediate aftermath of the Hiroshima bombing. These photographs, taken by an unknown Japanese photographer, were found in 1945 among rolls of undeveloped film in a cave outside Hiroshima by U.S. serviceman Robert L. Capp, who was attached to the occupation forces."
